Children in Need
In October 2023, we collected a whopping £125 for Children in Need among our members. The amount was topped up to £150 by the committee with funds from the club. We have now received a Thank You Certificate:
Fancy being a walk leader?
We are always in need of members leading one of our walks. We have therefore created some guidance for anyone who is interested. The guidelines below give you all the information you need for a successful and stress-free experience. Still sounds too daunting? Why not start out as a backmarker and get some valuable experience this way. One of our more seasoned walk leaders will always be happy to help and support you.
As a thank you and reward for their time and effort, all walk leaders (front leaders) go free on the coach on "their" day as a thank you for their time and effort! If you are interested, please put your name down on the walk leaders sheet or contact a member of the committee.
